500 Club

KJ Paul was the clutch player substituting for Glenny Kravitz-- who was taking a much needed break and was the Commander in Chief last night at The Rickshaw Stop. More on that in my next posting-- and was instrumental in engineering the sound system to be heard over the wailing in the next room. With a shortened schedule, Paul masterfully managed to allow everyone at least two chances to sing. Most people got 3 chances, before handing over the last hour's responsibilities to the still green, yet very reliable KJ Scott. And Scott did a mighty job of taking the reigns from Paul. Thanks to the NBA Playoffs it was a bustling affair, as some spillover from the NBA crowd had joined the Karaoke fun. By the end of the evening everyone wanted their chance at the Mic, and the KJ's got everyone their chance. What a great time, good job guys! And congratulations to Scott in becoming the newest KJ in San Francisco!

FYI- KJ Paul will be hosting Caffeinated Comics Karaoke one week early, on Saturday, June 12, from 4pm to 8pm. KJ Scott will be hosting George's Birthday party at Caffeinated Comics on June 19, from 4pm to 8pm. Photos and live blogging from both events will be in order. Don't miss the action from either event!
Due to my current location, I am unable to upload the remaining photos to Ash Wednesday Karaoke Insider's Group on Facebook. However, the photos will be uploaded within the next 24 hours. Cheers.
